UFC 334: Fights, Fighters, Date & Venue

UFC - Ultimate Fighting Championship Tickets | Vivid Seats

UFC 334 comes to Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 14, 2026. Two titles are on the line. Ciryl Gane defends the heavyweight belt against Josh Hokit, and Kayla Harrison faces Amanda Nunes after months of delay. It’s the promotion’s 13th visit to New York.

Betting from Pennsylvania

A fan in Philadelphia doesn’t need to travel to New York to bet on the card. Pennsylvania online sports betting runs through apps licensed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), and a fight at Madison Square Garden is just another event on the board. What counts is where the bettor is when the bet goes in.

The app checks the phone’s location, and the bettor must be inside Pennsylvania. The legal age is 21. Somebody on a couch in Scranton sees the same markets as somebody in a bar in Manhattan.

A fan who takes a train to New York for the event would find the Pennsylvania account won’t work there, since New York has its own licensed apps. Sportsbooks usually list who wins each fight, how it ends, and how many rounds it lasts. Most apps let players set deposit limits, so you can play worry-free.

The fight card

Five bouts are listed so far, and the card is labeled for Paramount+. The two title fights sit on top, with a middleweight bout between Donte Johnson and César Almeida below them. Almeida stepped in for Baisangur Susurkaev, who withdrew.

Two lightweight fights round out the card. Jared Gordon meets Melquizael Costa and Evan Elder meets Samuel Sanches. Another lightweight bout, Nazim Sadykhov against Jefferson Nascimento, was canceled after both men dropped out with injuries.

The heavyweight title

Gane became interim champion by beating Alex Pereira on June 14 at UFC Freedom 250. Tom Aspinall vacated the belt on September 14. Dana White first said Gane wouldn’t be the undisputed champion, then clarified that Gane had been promoted and would defend the title against Hokit, the challenger.

Aspinall’s vacancy traces back to UFC 321 in October 2025, when an illegal eye poke from Gane left Aspinall hurt, and the fight ended in a no contest.

Harrison against Nunes

Harrison is the reigning women’s bantamweight champion, an Olympic judo gold medalist, and a two-time PFL champion. Nunes is a former two-time champion at 135 pounds and a former featherweight champion as well.

The fight was first set for UFC 324 in January. Harrison pulled out with herniated neck discs that needed surgery, and a later date reportedly fell through for undisclosed reasons. Both women have worn a belt before, which gives the matchup extra weight.

Madison Square Garden

The Garden has hosted the UFC before. This is the promotion’s 13th card in New York City and its first since UFC 322 in November 2025. A title card in New York draws plenty of attention, and this one carries two belts and a long-delayed matchup.

Doing the homework

Bettors who want a quick refresher on a fighter’s recent bouts can ask an AI model for a summary, then check the details against the official UFC site. Fighters’ records and betting odds weren’t available when this was written, and odds move as the week goes on.

Fight week brings weigh-ins, and those can move the odds too. A fighter who looks like a favorite on Monday can change by Friday. Late changes happen, as this card already shows with Almeida and the canceled lightweight bout.

A short history

The UFC history goes back to 1993, when the promotion began as a one-night tournament meant to find the “Ultimate Fighting Champion” across many martial arts. In January 2001, Zuffa, owned by Frank Fertitta III, Lorenzo Fertitta, and Dana White, restructured it into a more organized sport. Endeavor bought the UFC in 2016 with Silver Lake Partners and KKR, and its shows now air in more than 165 countries and territories.

UFC Fight Pass launched in December 2013 as a digital subscription service, and the USADA anti-doping program began in July 2015. The idea behind the sport reaches back much further. The UFC’s own page traces it to pankration, a Greek Olympic event from 648 BC, and to Brazilian vale tudo.
